Strategically located in the central Aegean, Mykonos is the melting pot of the overall beauty of the Cyclades Islands. Traditional and picturesque, keeping intact the unique Cycladic architecture, modern and welcoming, winning the admiration of even the most demanding visitor, Mykonos, once loved, can never be forgotten.

With the same love for his island, Mr. John Gryparis and his family, built with care and taste the first furnished apartments on the island, back in 1987, in the region of Vrissi, located at the foot of Mykonos Town (Hora).

The Island of the Winds

Mykonos, The island of the winds!

Mykonos is a natural paradise for Windsurfing and Kitesurfing  lovers.

The nearest beach for  Kitesurfing is Korfos Beach located just before Ornos Beach a 3 Mins drive.

The most famous beach especially for Windsurfing is Ftelia Beach. This wild, north beach is one of the favorites of wind surfers. Even as a non-participant you can spend some time watching the spectacle of wind surfers flying across the sea. When the rare south wind blows, this is the beach to come to.

There are no sun beds or umbrellas in both beaches, but you can find plenty of privacy and space to lay your towel on this soft, sandy, windswept beach. Because of the wind, this is also a fairly good place to do some beachcombing; you never know what you might find. This is a perfect beach to bring your dog to run or a swim in the sea.

The beach is precisely positioned north and in conjunction with the shape of the island, result to a nice corridor of regular wind.
